5280 Exteriors turns twenty this month.
We started in October 2006 with two people, no real office, and not much idea of what we were getting into. Twenty years later we’re a siding, window, roofing and decking company working across the Denver metro, the Front Range and the mountain towns, with a team we’re genuinely proud of.
Last Friday we got everyone together — the whole team, along with their spouses and partners — to mark it.

The night was also a send-off.
Guy has been here longer than anyone at 5280 Exteriors. He was our salesperson of the year several years running, but that undersells what he actually did. Guy was a steady, positive presence through every uncertain stretch this company had. He put the company and the people in it ahead of himself, and he genuinely cared — about the quality of the work and about how every customer got treated.
Last Friday we celebrated his retirement.
Guy, thank you. Twenty years of this company has your fingerprints on it.

There is no 5280 Exteriors without Mick.
He co-founded this company and carried it through the years when there was nothing to carry it with. Every good habit we have, he helped build. His stamp is on this place permanently and always will be — twenty years exists because he said yes back when there was no reason to.
He and his wife now own and operate the Timberline Motel in Leadville. If you’re ever up that way, go stay with them.
What We’ve Got Now
Twenty years in, we hold James Hardie Elite Preferred status with back-to-back President’s Club awards in 2024 and 2025, and we’re an authorized Pella dealer and installer.

A business isn’t only a financial vehicle. It has an identity, the same way a person does, and how it treats people is who it is. We’re respectful to our clients, our crews and each other. We look for solutions that are fair. And we do great work. That’s not a poster in a conference room — it’s the part that took twenty years to build.
