Have you ever driven through a neighborhood and had a particular house just stand out to you above the others? Maybe it was a particular color that caught your eye or a certain style of siding. With a number of siding materials on the market, we can help cultivate a look for your home that will make YOUR home be the one that stands out above the rest.

While it can be fun to experiment with different textures and colors, you want to make sure your materials are of similar quality. For example; if you have brick on your home, you may want to consider choosing another long lasting, durable siding like James Hardie fiber cement over a vinyl option. The siding can provide a beautiful contrast to the brick or even bring out a particular color in the brick. Remember the color wheel we were shown in elementary school? The same principles apply here: red brick can look especially nice with a warm neutral color, while a brown or gray brick can pair well with a cooler color.

Stone can also be a great material to bring a special style to your home. One of the most common ways to use stone is around the base of the home. If your home has columns, stone can be used around those as well. When it comes to stone accents, there are a number of color choices as well that you can choose to cultivate the look you are going for. If you are interested in an elegant look, a monochromatic color scheme may work well. If you are going for more contrast and pop, consider using colors that are adjacent on the color wheel; such as a blue-gray stone with a natural shade of green.

Combining siding choices can give you a number of different options for cultivating just the right look for your home. When you schedule a free estimate, our project consultant will meet with you and can bring samples to help bring your vision to life. Give us a call at 720-707-6964 and let us help you choose the perfect combination for your home!
