This includes a durable finish, baked on bond (to resist chipping, peeling & cracking) and UV-Ray Resistance. In our Colorado climate, that added feature is important to the longevity of pre-finished siding. James Hardie offers the Statement Collection, which are standard colors that will be stocked in your market, and the Dream Collection that can offer almost unlimited color options with a special order, with almost 700 colors.
Why use James Hardie’s ColorPlus Technology and not regular paint? Because the finish was developed especially for Hardie fiber cement siding. It is baked on in a closely controlled factory environment to ensure consistent coverage. Paint and other siding finishes applied in the field can dull substantially over time.
